I temporali
Oggi li aspettiamo con gioia ma anche con preoccupazione. Dopo un’ estate calda e soleggiata dovrebbero rinfrescare l’aria e dare gioia al corpo e alla natura;
oggi questa attesa non può più essere vissuta come qualche anno fa quando questi eventi portavano solo vantaggi all’ambiente.
Abbiamo perduto la memoria di come i nostri vecchi gareggiavano quotidianamente con il clima e per sopravvivere in ogni ambiente, anche ostile: se pur analfabeti sapevano osservare i luoghi in cui vivevano adeguando ecologicamente il territorio con opere di convivenza con gli eventi naturali.
E’ così che è nato il nostro sistema terrazzato che per secoli ci ha difeso da quegli eventi naturali .
Oggi ribattezzati “bombe d’acqua” se pur meno prevedibili e con tempi di ritorno più brevi, i temporali riescono a fare molti più danni che in passato.
La causa sta nella nostra perdita di capacità di osservazione e analisi della forza dell’acqua dimenticandoci di mantenere efficienti quelle opere idrauliche territoriali che ci hanno lasciato in eredità i nostri predecessori.

Parleremo di tutto questo, mercoledì 30 giugno alle 18,30 sui nostri canali, insieme a:

Prof. Federico Preti, docente presso il dipartimento di Agraria dell’università di Firenze, esperto di idraulica agraria e sistemazioni idraulico-forestali;
Maurizio Bertolini e Siro Bonanni, artigiani maestri nella ricostruzione di muretti a secco;
Prof. Marco Franco Elter, docente di Geologia Strutturale presso l’Università di Genova;
Prof. Davide Rizzo, docente di Agronomia e Data Science presso l’Università di Beauvais;
Massimilano Ghimenti, Sindaco di Calci.
